Walmart’s open call offers business owners the opportunity to become Walmart suppliers and reach millions of new customers with their American-made products

Walmart is accepting applications for its 11th annual Open Call event inviting small business owners and entrepreneurs across the United States to apply for the opportunity to have their products on the shelves of Walmart or Sam’s Club or on Walmart.com And SamsClub.com. Applications are open until July 15, 2024.

Open Call is part of Walmart’s $350 billion commitment strengthen U.S. manufacturing by sourcing ready-to-sell products that are made, grown, or assembled in the U.S. The 2024 Open Call will take place on September 24 and 25.

Since its launch in 2014, Open Call has provided thousands of small and medium-sized businesses with the opportunity to become Walmart suppliers and reach millions of new customers with their American-made products. At last year’s Open Call, Walmart and Sam’s Club retailers heard over 1,000 proposals from more than 700 companies from all 50 states and Washington, DC.

Open Call provides an extraordinary growth opportunity to even more small and medium-sized businesses in Washington, DC. Each entrepreneur will have a one-on-one pitch meeting with Walmart and/or Sam’s Club retailers. Entrepreneurs who secure a “Golden Ticket” – an offer that lets Walmart sell their products in stores or online – can access a huge customer base, allowing them to achieve significant growth. After securing a Golden Ticket, Open Call winners are often able to expand their manufacturing footprint and create jobs in their local communities.
